Customer Review One Of The Greatest Movies Ever Made!!! - 4.75 out of 5  (3/1/2001) It's a dream come true. Finally, JAWS is out on DVD. This is one of the greatest movies ever made in my opinion. To this day I will not swim in the ocean. Steven Spielberg should have won an Oscar award for this movie about a large Great White shark that terrorizes a small town. The story was awesome, cast was great and John Williams' score was haunting. The DVD is very impressive. The picture and sound quality is sharp. Between John Williams heart thumping score and perfect acting by three courageous men out to catch a cunning shark, more fearsome and enormous than anyone could ever imagine, this film truly swims up and bites you in the behind with no warning! Enjoy.   more >> Customer Review The shark still looks fake !! - 4 out of 5  (7/16/2000) Well what is there to say about this movie, we've all seen it loads of times , probably as a child , i can remember seeing this on English tv in 1981 and it scared the pants off me . Now 19 years later and a more mature 29 years old i still cringe at that seen at the start of the film where the girl goes late night swimming !
