When the drug investigation turns deadly, the murderers kidnap the only witness -- a beautiful police informant (Tea Leoni) and close friend of The Boys -- and things get personal! Fast cars, a gorgeous woman and non-stop action make Bad Boys a guaranteed good time!

"Bad Boys" is a film that practically demanded the special edition attention that it recently recieved from Columbia/Tri-Star. It was one of the best examples of a buddy cop movie mixed with action adventure ever made, as the script managed to mix high action with clever repartee between the two co-stars.
The film was one of the first DVD's released into the marketplace by Columbia, but that disc was a bare bones version with several errors in the soundtrack as well as a poor picture ratio.

Michael Bay + Will Smith + Tea Leoni = One Kickass Ride! - 4.5 out of 5 (6/30/2000)
This was the one that started my love of Michael Bay's mindless, fast-paced action fare. This movie rises about his others though in that it is genuinely FUNNY thanks to Smith and Lawrence and also has great pacing but KNOWS WHEN TO STOP (as opposed to Armageddon).
Beautiful new disc from Columbia including some cool features and a great new menu layout. Picture and sound are both first rate! Pick this one up today!
