I know what you did last summer - 4 out of 5 (3/9/1999)
The Movie:
From the writer of Scream and Scream 2, Kevin Williamson, comes I Know What You Did Last Summer. This horror film was the first in the now long line of Scream copycats. The story goes like this. While on their way home from the beach on the night of their high school graduation, four teens are involved in a car accident where they seemingly kill the victim and dump his body in the ocean. Fast forward one year, it seems that the victim may not have been dead after all

More of a thriller. - 3 out of 5 (8/3/2009)
Don't listen to the haters, they just expected to much. The acting is great from everybody. the script by Kevin Williamson ('Scream' and 'Scream 2') was good, and John Debney's musical score was amazing--It's really what made this film. This isn't a rip-off or -Scream', they're to totally different movies.
The features were ok, just audio commentary by director Jim Gillespie and a trailer for the film.

Takes itself to seriously! - 3.5 out of 5 (9/22/2002)
Films nothing but a update of Prom Night which was not a good movie to begin with!
The main problem is the film takes itself far to seriously & has no energy or anything to make you get caught up in the film. If thats not bad enough..the scares are to predictable & handled so boringly...that they don't generate much suspense!
I've seen some good & great slasher's(70's & 80's stuff) that use the usual cliche's..yet they actually are atmospheric, creepy & make you jump!
Anyway the someti

Horror And Sci Fi Awards Rating - 3.75 out of 5 (7/30/2000)
I Know What You Did Last Summer recieves 3 stars
out of five. This film could of been better, it's
not as close to being scary, Scream is way better.
But don't worry the sequel is a big improvment.
The audio was good, the vedio was good, except it
could of been better with out the film in it.
