Double Team, double time, double take - 3.75 out of 5 (3/5/2001)
"Double Team" made me do a double take. One look
at the masthead, which proudly states the names Van Damme, Rourke and
Rodman, and one wonders what they hell the producers were thinking. Van
Damme seems like a sure thing, as does Rourke but Rodman? The man is easily
the most annoying actor on the planet! (Except for Dane Cook, who might
still be out there somewhere!)
I'm about halfway through my self-imposed marathon of Van Damme films with

One Hell of a Team Action Movie - 4.25 out of 5 (5/2/1999)
A non-stop action thriller with the nation's top anti-terrorist(Jean Claude Van Damme) against
the dangerous and vengful Stravos(Mickey Rourke) Jean calls on weapons dealer(Dennis Rodman) for help. As
this two guys work together to destroy Stravos. Great action scenes, Some Kung-Fu scenes, you can really see
Jean in action with the famous Hong Kong Director, Tsui Hark in supervsion. This is one great team.

Hay películas que a veces uno las pasa por alto pensando que, como no tienen una promoción espectacular, no va a valer la pena "perder" el tiempo viéndolas. Eso es lo que pensaba un servidor de Double Team, pero he de reconocer que me equivoqué. Aunque la historia y el desarrollo del film no son perfectos, sí hay que destacar la línea de acción imparable que nos ofrece el realizador, Tsui Hark.
