They were cold, sadistic killers who thought they could hide from justice. But now they must face theiharsh law of theijungle…
Shot on location in the savage Amazon wilds of South America, Cannibal Ferox is one of the most violent and shocking films ever made. There are at least two dozen scenes of barbaric torture and sadistic cruelty graphically shown. If the presentation of disgusting and repulsive subject upsets you, please do not view this film. They must now pay for their crimes with blood and pain. For what they have done, Make Them Die Slowly.

Take-out anyone? - 4 out of 5 (7/24/2000)
"Cannibal Ferox" is one of the most recognized films of the late 1980's. It's not a great film, it's not even a good film, but it is a gross film and that really is all that matters.
The film as released on the Wizard video label in the mid 80's as "Make them Die Slowly" and it featured a picture of a woman being menaced by a machete wielding savage. That version also had several seconds cut out of the film and was considered very poor.
Skip to the year 2000, where Grindhouse releasing h

Pretty good - 3.75 out of 5 (7/20/2002)
This movie is pretty good, but not as good as you think before you have seen it ;). It doesn't actually contain that much gore. Well the DVD-production is very good, and it has a commentary with Umberto and Giovanni. You should buy this movie, it's worth it's money. Just watch out for the Vipco release!!!!!

CANNIBAL RAMBLE! - 4.25 out of 5 (8/23/2001)
Like THE NEW YORK RIPPER this is not the sleaze fest I was expecting, but more a straight forward jungle adventure with some gore. It is alot more polished than director Lenzi's MANGIATI VIVI! and alot more enjoyable than Ruggero Deodato's classic CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST. The acting like any low budget Italian film of the late 70s and early 80s is passable, certainly not Oscar material but who cares. The animal killings are not as graphic as some reviewers make out, in fact compared with Sergio Marti

Interesting - 3 out of 5 (2/4/2001)
This is an enjoyable piece of schlock, for the most part (there are scenes of animal cruelty which are stupid and unwatchable). The script and much of the acting was risible, but there were many memorable moments, killings, beatings, tortures etc. The picture quality of movie on the DVD is disappointing and so was the sound. However, the extras on the disk were excellent, and it had a great animated menue.
