Drink From Me And Live Forever
The undead are among us and livelier than ever when Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and a talented group of youngbloods star in Interview with the Vampire, the spellbinding screen adaption of Anne Rice's bestseller. Box-office favorite Cruise stylishly plays the supremely evil, charismatic vampire Lestat. Pitt is Louis, lured by Lestat into the immortality of the damned, then tormented by an unalterable fact of vampire life: to survive, he must kill. Stephen Rea, Antonio Banderas, Christian Slater and Kirsten Dunst also star.
Hypnotically directed by Neil Jordan (The Crying Game) from a screenplay by Rice, Interview with the Vampire offers enough thrills, shocks and fiendish fun to last a lifetime...and beyond.

good movie - 3.75 out of 5 (5/5/2003)
An epic story of a life lived unlike any other; Interview With the Vampire is the ultimate tale of vampires and how they live. Based on the novel written by the famous author Anne Rice, it's not the horror film you may think.
Louis de Pointe du Lac had lost his wife and newborn during childbirth just six months earlier. He lived recklessly; life had lost all meaning and reason to him. While he didn't now outright kill himself, he did all he could to invite death. He lived on a thin edge, just

A good film based off a great book - 5 out of 5 (12/1/2000)
When this movie was released it was greatly over looked by the public and the Ann Rice enthusiast who were to make up a good part of the audience were to tied up in whining about Tom Cruise to view the film for it's merits. Like any great book I have ever read Anne Rice's novel was monumentally better than the film but that is expected. Ann Rice is not a pulp horror writer, she is one of the best writers of our time and books like the Vampire Chronicles will be the kind of novels our children wi

Fine film, not the disc they claim it is - 3 out of 5 (7/10/2000)
This revised release of INTERVIEW has extra
features, and the first release didn't, so that in
itself is of interest. Neil Jordan's commentary
is full of interesting details, not surprisingly.
What objectively might seem like just another
monster movie is given depth and great beauty by
Jordan, who was excited about the source material
(to give Anne Rice some credit)... it doesn't
hurt that he's a modern master of the screen. For
him this is a big commercial venture, and it's no
