But when the doctor skips town to go on a quiet family vacation, Bob, afraid of being alone, follows -- showing up unexpectedly at the therapist's lakeside retreat. That's when the fun really begins! Bob innocently becomes the houseguest who just won't leave -- endearing himself to the other family members...and, in the end, driving the stresses-out shrink absolutely crazy!

"There are two types of people in this world: Those who like Neil Diamond and those who don't"
And these words strike to the very heart and soul of "What About Bob?"
Ah, who am I kidding, they don't make a lick of sense, but neither does the fact that I thought that was important enough to start the review off with.

The FUNNIEST movie I've ever seen - 4 out of 5 (9/12/2000)
This movie shows Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfus at their best. Every scene is filled with hilariously memorably lines and crazy facial expressions. Dreyfus does a fantastic job of playing a concedeed pycologist that goes crazy after his patient, Bill Murray, won't leave him alone while on vacation. This movie is, as Bob would say, "Mash potatos and gravy!" Hands down, it's may favorite movie. An absolute must have movie!!
