This 1996 film is a constant action packed parade of 108 minutes of carnage and gory mayhem that makes even the most bloodthirsty horror film buff grimace.
The badass motorscootin' Gecko Brothers are on the loose. Among the best action movies ever made! - 5 out of 5 (8/17/2002)
What a ride, Whew!!. The pairing of Rodriguez and Tarintino is a match made in movie making heaven. If there are two filmmakers who are in tune with their filmmaking instincts its these two. The first half of this movie you get to enjoy what I consider to be classic action movie. The Gecko Brothers are a drag you along in the classic cat mouse hunt of cops chasing criminals on the run, only from the convicts perpective. Two Great Films In One - 4.75 out of 5 (1/21/2001)
Some love the Tarantino first segment, others the Rodriguez second segment. A few like both equally however, and as one of them this DVD is amazing. All the featurettes, the Full Tilt Boogie docufeature and the Tarantino/Rodriguez commentary make it an amazing disc. The outtakes are a great bonus as well and should be included on many more DVDs.
