The Most Magical Event Of The Millennium!
At the edge of the mortal world lies a mystical vortex which leads to the Nine Kingdoms, a fantastic land where fairy tales are reinvented...and not with happily-ever-after results! An evil queen (Dianne Wiest) has just doomed Prince Wendell (Daniel Lapaine) to a life as a dog. His quest to recapture the throne leads him through a portal to the mythical Tenth Kingdon...Central Park! With the help of ordinary mortals Virginia (Kimberly Williams) and Tony (John Larroquette), they battle evil in a parallel universe of vile trolls, goblins and every fairy tale character imaginable. Stunning visual effects and a stellar cast, including Scott Cohen, Rutger Hauer, Camryn Manheim and Ed O'Neill, dominate this epic adventure that will enchant audiences of all ages.

Good Movie - 4.5 out of 5 (8/25/2003)

Virginia is just an average girl. She lives with her father on the edge of central park, in an apartment where he is the janitor. She works at a local restaurant, riding her bike to and from work each day. She and her father, Tony Lewis, barel

Very good effects and story. - 4.5 out of 5 (7/9/2001)
I found the story to be a good twist on the original fairy tales, and did not mind sitting through the several hours it took to watch the entire series. Great effects!

Fantastic story for the whole family - 5 out of 5 (7/9/2001)
It is rare to find a story that will hold the interest of the entire family. Adults relive a second childhood as they remember the fairy tales told to them as a child, and children are captivated by the fast pace and interesting characters. Just when things couldn't get any worse, it does!!! Highly recommended!!!
