Russian Roulete =BEST SCENE EVER!!! - 3.25 out of 5 (3/26/2004)
This movie is just plain great.It has one of the best acting in movies along with Raging Bull and Network.I love this film for its friendship and bondage.There's one scene in Vietnam where the 3 friends are in a POW and they have to play Russian Roulete against each other.I wont give anything away but its certainy one of my favorite scenes in movie history.I do think Robert De Niro was snubbed at the oscars when they gave it to John Voight for "Comming Home".Both did a great job in those teo mov

Very disappointing - 2.25 out of 5 (1/26/2002)
After reading all the comments about this movie I purchased it and was very disappointed. My wife and I sat through over an hour of the movie and at that point turned it off. Watching a wedding and the dance after for 52 minutes was just more than I could bear. I could have gone to a real live wedding and spent less time there. I am sure we are missing something...but we just did not find it interesting at all. After saying all that we turned scanned ahead a few chapters and found that it qu

One Of The Best - 4.25 out of 5 (6/8/2001)
Simply one of the best character studies ever made. These characters are as close to being real people as you will ever find and you can't help feeling involved in their lives as you watch this picture. DeNiro, Streep, Savage, Walken, Cazale, and a host of others make this one of the best films ever made.
