They're Just Nine Players Short Of A Dream Team.
What do you do if you're the new manager of the minor-league team called the Buzz? Pray for rain!
Instead, Gus Cantrell (Scott Bakula) turns his team from a laughingstock to the equivalent of blue-chip stocks in this third Major League comedy reuniting five series stalwarts, including wisecracking play-by-play man Bob Uecker. Cantrell has his work cut out. The catcher is living proof why the chest protector and other protective gear are called "the tools of ignorance." The ace pitcher should earn frequent-flyer miles for the fastballs opposing batters sock into orbit. The double-play combo's motto should be "to error is human." The star slugger is a legend in his own mind. They play on diamonds. They work for peanuts. Batter up!

One more time again! - 2.75 out of 5 (5/16/2000)
Okay, Okay. I know what I said about Major League 2 but that really doesn't apply in this film ... okay well, sort of!
My major bone of contention was that Major League 2 was a retelling of Major League with the same characters and this film is a re-telling of the same film with totally different characters. So sue me, better yet, sue them as I think they may have taken the same script and crossed out the appropriate names and times.
