He Thought It Was Just A Crush. He Was Dead Wrong.
A man who should know better. A much younger teenager. No way should there be any kind of romance between them. Yet from the moment 14-year-old Adrian met Nick, she was crazy about him. There must be something she can say or do. Some way she can show him this is not just a crush. What can she do? What won't she do?
Romantic obsession has harrowing consequences in The Crush, a suspense thriller starring Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Jennifer Rubin (The Doors) and Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, Blast From The Past) in her breakthrough role. Elwes plays Nick, at first flattered by Adrian's flirtation, then gripped with outright fear. Because what Adrian wants, Adrian gets. If she can't have her Mr. Right, no one can.

A thought provoking film - 3.75 out of 5 (8/1/2000)
"The Crush" is at first glance a passable thriller, which showcases the crush between a 14-year-old girl and a 28-year-old man. The "Lolita" syndrome has been done to death in films. The difference is that these men were usually guilty of some impropriety or at the very least, poor judgment. The "Crush" takes that one step further!
The terror that exists when you find yourself on the receiving end of a completely false accusation with absolutely no hope of being believed is a frightening one

Great Movie!! Fair DVD - 3 out of 5 (3/20/2002)
I love the film, but the DVD could be better. The audio is extremely boosted you can hear absolutely everything, which sometimes get distracting. The Transfer is somewhat good maybe a few minor specs but thats all. No Trailer though which i wanted!

very good movie - 3.5 out of 5 (11/13/2001)
The Crush is a very good movie. I remember seeing this back when it was released in 1993. The audio and video on this disc is very good. The only complaint I have about this disc is it's lack of extras. Other than that, this is a very good movie.
