When the suave Agent 007 (Pierce Brosnan) is assigned to protect a beautiful oil heiress (Sophie Marceau), he is catapulted into a passionate, adrenaline-charged adventure that pits him against one of his most deadly adversaries: Renard (Robert Carlyle), a ruthless anarchist whose total imperviousness to pain makes him a virtually unstoppable enemy. The unrelenting suspense, breathtaking action and sly wit never let up in this explosively entertaining thriller.

World is not enough is enough - 4.25 out of 5 (1/3/2006)
Depending on your stance of the character, "World is Not Enough" is either the 21st or 22nd film in the James Bond library. You may argue the point among yourselves, as I don't have a particular view on the subject.

Excellent Film and DVD Features - 4.75 out of 5 (1/19/2002)
This is an awesome bond film with a great story line, cool gadjets and lots of action. The DVD Special is really cool, its 2 audio commentarys are really neat. It also includes the original thearical tralier, behind the scenes on how they did all the stunts and a documenty on how they made the film.

Good Film, but not the best, opening title sequence leaves rest of film full of expectations - 4.5 out of 5 (10/15/2001)
I am a Bond fan, I've read alot of reviews, I like the film, but it did not deliver as much as much as we've seen in other films, the story is interesting, the action is only so so, I mean the best part of the movie for pure excitement is the pre-title scene, it was so great, the pleasures of the rest of the movie just are not enough, no one speaks of the villian much in the empire review, Renard is not developed enough, I prefer Licence to Kill and The Living Daylights over this film, bond film

A VERY GOOD TRANSFER TO DVD, THE SOUND IS GREAT
LOTS OF ACTION, AND LOTS OF GADGETS. THE BOAT CHASE WAS ONE OF THE BEST BOND SCENES IN AWHILE.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE BROSNAN FLICK TO DATE. JOHN
CLEESE TAKING OVER "Q" BROWN'S POSITION. HOW COOL
IS THAT!!! ONLY FAULT I SAW WAS THE 2 MINUTE
TRIBUTE TO "Q" ON VHS, BUT NOT ON DVD. WHY NOT??
