A powerful inspiration - 5 out of 5 (10/22/2000)
This film is a powerful inspiration to those who have the courage to stand by their convictions, no matter how unpopular they might be.
An outstanding production. The screenplay, acting, cinematography, etc. are all vintage Spike Lee: First class!

The Life and Times of Malcolm X Peace Be Unto him - 4.5 out of 5 (7/30/2000)
This in my opinion, is without a doubt, Spike Lee's best. This movie is very long, but, I don't think that you could get all of Malcolm's life into the big screen if it were a 5 hour movie.
Great story-Great video-Great audio (for this type of movie), uplifting, and very sad. This is one movie I could watch a million times and it would still move me.
