"Delightful! Ryan andiKline are irresistible." - Rita Kempley, The Washington Post
Meg Ryan (Sleepless in Seattle) and Kevin Kline (Dave) star in this bouncy romantic comedy about life, love and larceny.
When her fiance is smitten by a beautiful Frenchwoman, Kate (Ryan) flies to Paris determined to win him back. However, nothing prepares her for Luc (Kline), a cunning, sexy Frenchman with a gift for gab and a fondness for thievery. A self-proclaimed expert on affairs of the heart, Luc promises to help Kate win back her man. But one star-crossed misadventure after another sweeps them across France, ultimately changing them in ways they never dreamed possible.
Directed by Lawrence Kasdan (The Big Chill, Grand Canyon) French Kiss is "a delightful cinematic bon bon...the stuff of classic moviemaking." - The Hollywood Reporter

Howzabout a little "French Kiss"? - 3 out of 5 (2/4/2000)
So you take two of the hottest talents in romantic comedies in the market and put them in a movie together. You get one of the best writers to write and direct the film. You put it all together and you come up with "French Kiss."
So, where did you go wrong?
Beats me!
On paper, "French Kiss" seems like the perfect romantic comedy. You have Meg Ryan playing her typical role. You have Kevin Kline playing an obnoxious Frenchman and you have a beautiful city like Paris as a backdrop.

Great movie.... - 3.5 out of 5 (7/18/2001)
I have to get the DVD, my VHS tape is almost thread bare from use. One of my top 5 for romantic comedies and the bonus is the happy ending.
