Synopsis
The International intelligence community isiaboutito getia lot less intelligent.

Wallace Ritchie, an American vacationer in London doesn't know that the bullets are real and the truth serum true. He thinks the intrigue erupting around him is part of an audience-participation theater event. Yet the world's fate depends on this gullible goofus who can't even spell CIA.

Bill Murray is Ritchie, the niave spy who comes in very bold in The Man Who Knew Too Little. He can't believe how believable the make-believe is. But as Ritchie's funny experiences with a femme fatale, a corpse, highway pursuits (lesson #1: drive on the left), assassins and a bomb proove, variety isn't just the spice of life. It's just the life of spies.

What has happened to Bill Murray ?? - 2.5 out of 5  (7/23/1998)
I ordered this film without having seen it before on the strength of Bill Murrays comic brilliance but now wonder why I bothered. I was really dissapointed and didn't find it funny at all. With the brilliant Groundhog day to his credit I thought I would at least get some laughs but alas this wasn't the case. It looks to me as if Bill Murray simply couldn't be bothered with the character and the supporting cast were even less bothered and this gives it all a rather tired feel. If you are thinki   more >>
