A comedy bordering oniinsanity.
In his first solo screen appearance, Marin stars as Rudy Robles, who is accidentally deported to Mexico without I.D. or knowledge of Spanish and can't convince the U.S. officials to let him return. Unable to contact his vacationing family or communicate with his newly immigrated cousin, Javier, Rudy embarks upon a series of wild schemes to get across the border any way he can. Along the way, he takes a variety of very odd jobs from a sleezy entrepreneur, Jimmy, in order to raise money while falling head over heels for a stunning senorita.

Nice movie - Awful DVD - 2.25 out of 5 (12/11/1998)
I've been a Cheech fan since I discorvered
his very cool movies during my stay in Canada
4 years ago. You can imagine my joy when I
found out there was a company that had
released one of his epics on DVD. So you can
also imagine my sadness when I saw that these
"people" didn't understand they could put
standard and widescreen versions on one DVD.
Shame on you, Mr. Goodtimes !!!
Anyway, Born... is a funny film but hurry up !!!
