Outbreak will entertain you, Iīm sure! - 3.5 out of 5 (7/10/1999)
When I saw this movie the first time, I was very impressed by the action, the great actors Hoffman and Spacey, as well as Rene Russo. At home, on DVD, the quality didnīt lose anything: the picture and sound are very good. Only the DVD-Features are a bit poor: bios, production notes, thatīs it. No trailer, no "making of", no commentary. But there are two different formats: 1.33:1 and 1.78:1. So, it doesnīt matter what TV you got, "Outbreak" will catch your eye!

Great Movie, So-So DVD - 3.75 out of 5 (1/4/1999)
This movie is one of my favorites. The DVD is not one of my favorites. It deserves to be a special edition or something. There some features but not like Warner's recent releases.

Please release good films with good features - 4 out of 5 (11/22/1998)
Outbreak is one of the most thrilling movies for a long time but on DVD, besides picture quality and audio, you don't feel like you own a DVD. I get annoyed when I see crap movies with good features and then good movies with crap features. If only it had a commentary and documentary. Well that's my complaint but the film is definately worth it.
