Manito is Eric Eason's electrifying first feature. Eric began filmmaking with a series of experimental Super 8 shorts followed by three 16mm narrative short films. After living and writing in Budapest, Eason returned to the United States where he then wrote and directed Manito. Manito became one of the most award-winning films of the year. Accolades include Special Grand Jury Prizes at Sundance, Miami, Tribeca and Austin's SXSW as well as the Open Palm Award at the prestigious Gotham Awards in New York City.
