4 Horsemen Of The Apocalypse, The

This is a manufactured on demand disc that was created using a DVD-R disc. It should play in all standard DVD players.

The fall of Paris in World War II is inevitable, but it's not Julio Desnoyers' fight. An expatriate from Argentina, he's there only for the art of painting and the equally fine art of cherchez les femmes. But it will be his fight. Family ties that give Julio access to the Nazi hierarchy make him an ideal agent for the Resistance.

Vincente Minnelli directs this drama of love and espionage, drawing on his strong visual sense and layering the narrative with riveting detail that includes siren wailing, people fleeing and Nazi troops strutting on the Champs Elysees. As Julio, Glenn Ford leads an international cast in a tale changed from its 1921 Rudolph Valentino version, yet still haunted by the doomsday specter of those feared, approaching horsemen.
