A tale of hillbilly hate and redneck revenge!
A gun-slinging, bloody western set in the 1970s, The Devil and Leroy Bassett has become a minor cult classic in league with Billy Jack for its stance against authority and incredible, explosive moments of violence. After his wife is killed during a routine traffic stop accident, Native American Keema Greywolf attacks the police who stopped him, killing a deputy in the process. Fleeing to Texas, Greywolf's escape is cut short as he is captured and held for extradition. Enter the Bassett brothers, part drunken slobs and the rest misguided revolutionaries. They hatch a scheme to break Greywolf out and get him as far away as possible, but they'll have to fight through a hundred angry cops who are just aching for revenge 0 and it'll take every ounce of courage, not to mention every last bullet, to shoot their way to true freedom in the modern west.
